The agent of Alessandro Florenzi expects his client to sign a new contract at Roma by the end of this month.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye in the capital this season after scoring twice in three Serie A games for the club.
And reports this week have indicated that the player will soon sign a new deal – his present one expires in 2013 – that will see his wages rise from €30,000 a season to €500,000.
“The renewal will arrive this month,” Alessandro Lucci told TMW. “I was asked by Roma a while ago if we could postpone talks until September.
“We are now in September and his extension will be wrapped up in September with great calm and synergy between the two parties.
“Today Alessandro is confirming all of the potential that he has, he just needs to continue working with great serenity and humility.”
Florenzi returned to the Stadio Olimpico this summer after a loan spell at Crotone.
