Eduardo Vargas is eager to underline his worth at Napoli after rejecting a summer move, his agent has revealed.
The Chilean joined the club in January from Universidad De Chile, but he has yet to score in 15 appearances for the club.
Contacted by Radio Goal, the player’s agent was asked about Torino’s apparent interest in signing him during the January transfer window.
“A lot of clubs are interested in Vargas, but he was the one who opted to stay at Napoli in the summer,” Cristian Ogalde stated on Thursday.
“He knows that he is at an important club. He’s also aware that he has great champions ahead of him like Edinson Cavani and others, but he wants to have a go at doing well in Azzurro.”
The 22-year-old is a forward who was linked with Toro in the summer, as well as Genoa and Siena.
