Morgan De Sanctis is on the verge of extending his contract with top of the table outfit Napoli, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
After months of talks, the paper is suggesting that the Italian international should put pen to paper on a new deal by the end of next week.
The 35-year-old, who played in 37 League games last season, is presently tied to the Stadio San Paolo boys until June 2013.
The former Juventus and Udinese custodian, who was part of Cesare Prandelli’s Euro 2012 squad, joined Napoli in 2009 after spells abroad with Sevilla and Galatasaray.
