There are reports that Wesley Sneijder’s thigh injury could be more serious than previously thought.
The midfielder limped off just 20 minutes into Inter’s 2-0 victory over Chievo last night.
At first the medical staff seemed confident that it was just a bruise to the thigh, but reports now suggest there could be a tear to the muscle.
If confirmed, this type of injury would rule Sneijder out of big games against Fiorentina, Europa League opponents Neftci and Milan.
