Bologna boss Stefano Pioli is still struggling to come to terms with the 1-0 defeat to Siena on Thursday. “You have to take home points in a game like that.”
The Rossoblu had the better of the Serie A tie, but the Tuscan minnows went home with all three points.
“You have to get something out of a game after a performance like that,” the former Chievo Verona tactician noted.
“We gave Siena just two chances this evening and they scored one goal. I liked how we played and we certainly did better than our opponents.
“What didn’t work? We didn’t score and we conceded. At the end of the game, that is all that matters…”
Bologna remain in 15th position after one win and one draw from five League games so far.
