Atalanta director Pierpaolo Marino smiles every time Marek Hamsik impresses for Napoli in Serie A.
Marino was the man who signed the midfielder for the Azzurri, a swoop he rates as one of his finest.
“We signed him for just €5.5m and it is today difficult to accurately say how much more he is worth,” the transfer guru noted.
The attacking midfielder is believed to be valued at around the €30m figure by Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Hamsik, born in 1987, moved to the Stadio San Paolo in the summer of 2007 after three season at the Rigamonti.
