Marcelo Estigarribia is delighted with how Sampdoria have started the season, according to his agent.
The Paraguay international has been overjoyed with the Bluerchiati's three wins and two draws so far in the campaign, with his representative also assuring fans' that they will learn to love the 25-year-old.
“Marcelo is a generous player on the pitch and a generous person off it,” Joseph Addamiano told ilsussidiario.net. “The fans will appreciate him for this.
“I am not surprised by the positive start he, and Sampdoria, have made.”
He also went on to thank Estigarribia's former club Juventus, with whom he was on-loan at for the entirety of last season.
“Marcelo is grateful to Juve, and has very good memories of his time in Turin. He is absolutely not [disappointed they did not sign him on a permanent basis], it was good of Antonio Conte to enhance the career of Marcelo the way he did.”
The former Le Mans midfielder has been in impressive form so far this term, starting all six leagues games and scoring one goal for Ciro Ferrara’s team.
