Sulley Muntari could be back in action by the end of the year after the Milan man damaged knee ligaments in the summer.
The midfielder was forced to undergo surgery after picking up the problem in a kick-about with friends in Ghana towards the end of June.
The Corriere dello Sport says that the player will soon have a medical in an effort to get the green light to resume training.
The newspaper claims that the former Inter player could be back in action towards the end of November.
