Empoli have confirmed they have a deal in place to sell Under-21 international Riccardo Saponara to Parma.
The 20-year-old Azzurrini winger has scored three goals so far this season in Serie B, although Empoli are in the relegation zone.
Saponara is currently away on international duty, having played in the 1-0 European Championship play-off victory against Sweden.
“There is an agreement with Parma,” declared Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi.
“We just need to formalise everything.”
