The representative of Villarreal and Italy forward Giuseppe Rossi has welcomed transfer links with Inter.
Stories yesterday suggested that the Nerazzurri are ready to take a gamble on the player who is recovering from knee surgery.
“Inter are a possible option for Giuseppe,” agent Federico Pastorello stated. “Given his age and characteristics, he could be a good fit for Inter and other Italian clubs.
“The side put together by President Massimo Moratti, with a new project and a young well-prepared Coach is intriguing and we’ll leave the door open for it.
“We’ve often talked about various solutions in Italy and abroad and Giuseppe has an undeniable appreciation for the Inter project, a club who want to remain at the top with a younger squad and cheaper costs.”
Rossi, who missed out on Euro 2012, has been out of action for a year now after twice rupturing the same knee ligaments.
“The operation went well and we are hoping that he’ll be back in training in March and return to action by the end of the season.
“I’m certain that he will be back stronger than ever.”
