Fiorentina are preparing an offer for Lyon striker Lisandro Lopez in January, according to reports in the French Press.
The Argentine forward has been linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 side in recent weeks, and Mercato365.com have reported that the Viola are likely to bid for the 29-year-old during the winter transfer window.
But Coach Remi Garde has quashed those rumours, saying that he is not worried about Lopez leaving.
“I do not think he will leave in this transfer window,” he told Firenzeviola.it. “But I am not surprised that there are teams interested in Lisandro.
“I am not worried about him leaving, not until January 1 anyway,” he joked.
