Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli has hit out at former Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino, saying he has 'not behaved like a man'.
The 33-year-old forward spent one season on-loan at the Viola in 2004-2005, before being sent back to his parent club Juventus against his will.
And the Rosanero captain has called out the 62-year-old, admitting he felt betrayed by his actions.
“In Florence I spent one wonderful season,” he told Mediaset Premium. “Corvino asked me, if I wanted to, I could stay at Fiorentina and would definitely be signed once I got back to Juve.
“It was only once I left for my holidays, that I was told that the Viola wouldn't be redeeming me.
“To me, Corvino has not behaved like a man. I felt betrayed.”
