Bologna’s Alessandro Diamanti has been deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for insulting referees.
The Italian international was furious after a 3-1 home defeat to Inter on Sunday afternoon and expressed his rage to journalists.
Diamanti has now been deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for ‘insulting referee Andrea De Marco, damaging his reputation and offending the dignity of the entire refereeing profession.’
The player was booked for dissent and will therefore be suspended for tonight’s trip to Juventus.
