Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri believes Saturday's victory over Chievo can spur them on to beat Malaga in the Champions League.
The Rossoneri defeated Eugenio Corini's side 5-1 at San Siro, and the 45-year-old Coach is of the opinion that the resounding win can kickstart their European campaign against the Spanish side tomorrow.
“Malaga are a great passing team,” he told a Press conference. “They are a team with great technical qualities as they showed against us in the first game.
“But I think the win against Chievo will be an important one for us. They had put us in a difficult position for the first 15 minutes, but my team recovered well.
“We are a team that's gaining confidence. Playing at San Siro is never easy, but my young players are proving their quality and getting used to the experience of winning there.”
He also commented on the options he has available for the game, and confirmed some of the starting XI for the match.
“Iganzio Abate and Kevin Constant will be the full-backs tomorrow, but I'm yet to decide on who will play at centre-back,” he said. “We will play with two defensive midfielders – Ricardo Montolivo will be one, and then other will be either Massimo Ambrosini or Nigel De Jong.
“There won't be many changes from the team that played Chievo.”
