Genoa will be without Cristobal Jorquera for at least a month after he was diagnosed with a second-degree thigh strain.
The Chilean international limped off just nine minutes into the 1-0 defeat to Siena [12] on Sunday.
Genoa’s official club website confirmed this evening that tests had shown a second-degree lesion to the right thigh muscle.
It is the kind of injury that will keep Jorquera out for at least three to four weeks, if not more.
