Erik Lamela could overtake club legends Francesco Totti, Abel Balbo and Enrique Guaita should he score for Roma against Lazio on Sunday.
The young Argentine has netted in his last five League games – thus matching the achievements of the aforementioned trio with the Giallorossi.
Lamela has scored in each of Roma’s games against Atalanta, Genoa, Udinese, Parma and Palermo – smashing in a total of six goals in the process.
Should Lamela extend his run against the Biancocelesti, then he could challenge club record man Rodolfo Volk who scored in seven straight League games for the outfit.
