Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal was sent-off in his second consecutive game for Chile.
The South American was dismissed in a World Cup qualifier against Venezuela last month. He returned to the side in Wednesday’s friendly against Serbia where he was shown the red card again for a terrible challenge from behind.
The 3-1 defeat to Serbia also had consequences for Chile boss Claudio Borghi who was sacked after the match played in Switzerland.
