Cagliari’s Radja Nainggolan has hit back at the protests of Inter regarding the Andrea Ranocchia penalty controversy.
The Nerazzurri were left fuming at the end of the 2-2 draw at San Siro in which they claimed they should have been awarded a late spot-kick.
The club subsequently announced a Press silence, while owner Massimo Moratti made references to the Calciopoli scandal [12].
“Ranocchia talks a lot,” midfielder Nainggolan wrote on his Twitter account. “He only knows how to cry when he doesn’t win.
“Should we talk about Thiago Motta’s goal two years ago? Offside!
“Look, I have nothing against Inter, but it is too easy to talk after a game which we deserved…”
The Belgian international was making reference to the game against Inter on November 19, 2011, that the Nerazzurri won 2-1.
Cagliari boss Ivo Pulga also insisted that his side were more than worthy of at least a point in Milan on Sunday.
“It was a deserved draw and with a bit more luck we could have taken home all three,” the tactician noted. “We wouldn’t have robbed them.”
