Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has dedicated his late goal against Torino to suspended Daniele De Rossi.
The Bosnian midfielder's deflected effort secured a 2-0 win for the Giallorossi, and the former Lyon man has claimed his strike was for the club's vice-captain.
“My goal tonight is dedicated to De Rossi,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He was obviously not playing, but we really wanted him on the pitch.
“We know we are not in a good situation at the moment, but we all feel like we have the quality to recover.
“I thought we played well tonight - we defended very well. If we continue to play like this then results will surely come.”
