President Massimo Moratti closes the door on reports of a Mario Balotelli reunion and says “the team will remain more or less intact” this season.
The patron was in New York for a presentation of the Inter Campus youth football project at the United Nations.
“Will Balotelli return to Inter? I really doubt that,” Moratti replied to a question about the January transfer window.
“In my view the team will remain more or less intact to the end of the season. It’s a good challenge for the players we have, who want to prove they can do better than we expected at the start of the campaign.
“Inter are a team who do well, though on occasion do less well,” he said of Monday’s defeat in Parma.
