Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has officially bought into struggling club Triestina, who went bankrupt in June.
Triestina were in Lega Pro last season, but were declared bankrupt in June and a new club was formed in the Eccellenza Division.
Now it is official that Palermo patron Zamparini has invested heavily in Triestina with a three-year project.
The first proposal announced was that Triestina would become a testing ground for the Palermo youth academy.
