Walter Mazzarri still could not be satisfied with Napoli’s 5-1 victory over Pescara and admits he “got very angry at half-time.”
The Partenopei surged into a 2-0 lead, then felt the pressure as the Delfini pulled one back, but a red card changed the game.
“I got very angry at half-time,” confessed the Coach. “We scored two goals and then seemed to rest on our laurels.
“We ran a big risk and I cannot see these dips in concentration. At least the experience will help us to grow.
“In past years we struggled to score with our midfielders, but we’ve signed players who are capable of being dangerous in attack so we can help open up opposition defences.
“Gokhan Inler needs to have the ball at his feet, but he has improved and has understood what we want from him. Our style of football is different to that of Udinese.”
