Zenit St Petersburg boss Luciano Spalletti has ruled himself out of the running to become the next Coach of Milan.
Massimiliano Allegri has come under intense scrutiny this season at San Siro, but the 53-year-old has quashed rumours he may become the new man in charge of the Milanese giants.
“I'm too old to coach Milan,” he told a Press conference. “I still want to continue in Russia anyway.
“I have a good relationship with the President and have only just renewed my contract. However, in the future I would like to coach in England.”
He also made a surprise admission regarding Stephan El Shaarawy.
“El Shaarawy is a beautiful player,” he said. “He was proposed to me even back when I was at Empoli [in 1998].”
