Genoa will be without defender Cesare Bovo for the next four weeks after he was diagnosed with a thigh strain.
Bovo had been originally named in the starting XI against Chievo on Sunday, but pulled out during the warm-up.
This evening he was diagnosed with a second degree lesion in the left thigh muscle and will be sidelined for a month.
He adds to the problems for Genoa, who have lost six of the last seven games.
