Mathieu Flamini’s contract with Milan expires at the end of the season, so he has left the door open for a January move to Olympique Marseille.
“There are various options for my future, which is why there is so much talk,” the French midfielder told L’Equipe.
“Right now I am at Milan and what counts is finishing the first half of the season in the best way possible. Marseille? For now I am here, then we’ll see...”
The former Arsenal man has barely featured for the Rossoneri due to a series of injuries and was never particularly high up the pecking order.
He started Tuesday’s Champions League 1-0 defeat to Zenit, a meaningless game as Milan had already qualified.
“It is always a pleasure to start a match. In a career there can be difficult moments, but it’s a marathon, not a sprint and I have no intention of pulling back. I remain concentrated so I can prove the Coach can count on me.”
