Giampaolo Pazzini can't believe his amazing first appearance in an Inter jersey. “It's a dream and impossible to predict a day like this.”
The striker completed his transfer from Sampdoria for €12m plus Jonathan Biabiany on Friday.
He came off the bench with Inter trailing 2-0 to Palermo at half-time, then scored two goals and earned a penalty for the 3-2 victory.
“It was impossible to predict a day like this. It feels like a dream,” grinned Pazzini.
“This has been an extraordinary afternoon with great joy and satisfaction. I dedicate the brace to those who believed in me, my girlfriend and those who stayed close in difficult times.
“Inter are still in the Scudetto race. We are not sated by success and it's a great pleasure to play alongside so many champions.
“I got on well with Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o today, so it's only right to thank them too.”
