Maarten Stekelenburg is not on his way out of Roma, says his agent, despite links to Premier League club Fulham.
The Dutchman has been linked on and off with a departure from the Giallorossi since pre-season training under Zdenek Zeman.
The latest reports come from Britain and name Fulham as in early talks to take the 30-year-old former Ajax man to London.
However, for the player’s agent, there is no truth in these claims.
“I indeed categorically deny these rumours, there has been no contact with the London club or with their manager Martin Jol,” Rob Jansen told Calciomercato.it.
“In Roma he is happy and he wants to stay there - his relationship with Zeman is excellent.”
