With Antonio Floro Flores’ stay in Spain coming to a premature end, speculation is that Granada will take another Udinese striker in his place.
Floro Flores is ending his season long loan spell with the struggling La Liga side six months early after angering club officials by reporting in as injured for a game, only to be pictured skiing the next day.
With the Italian set for a switch to Genoa in January, Granada are being linked with a replacement striker and Udinese may oblige.
The Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Paulo Vitor Barreto’s run at the club has come to an end due to struggles with form and fitness and, despite a number of Serie A sides said to be interested in him, he will be sent out to Granada.
Granada are owned by the Pozzo family behind Udinese and have benefited in recent seasons from a number of transfer dealings between the two clubs.
