The agent of Douglas Maicon has rejected the theory that his client could leave Manchester City in favour of an Inter return.
The Brazilian left the San Siro giants in the summer for the Premiership outfit, but he has been paired with a January switch back to the peninsula.
“He injured his heel in the first game of the Champions League against Real Madrid, that is the only reason why he has missed so many games,” agent Roberto Calenda told Interlive.it.
“When he has been fit, he’s always been a first team starter and he’s offered some excellent performances.
“I went to see him for the Manchester derby and he’s settled in really well.
“A return to Inter is impossible, absolutely impossible. He gave seven years to the Nerazzurri and even if you can never say never in football, a return for Maicon doesn’t seem possible.”
