Inter are likely to be without Esteban Cambiasso and Lucio for their trip to bottom club Bari on Thursday.
Both players picked up knocks during Inter's 3-2 victory over Palermo at the weekend.
Scans have since shown that Lucio strained his right thigh so badly that he risks missing a further three games against Roma, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Cambiasso has muscle fatigue in his left leg. He is considered a doubt for the Bari match but is expected to recover in time for the weekend.
