The agent of Federico Peluso claims that Juventus like his client, but Atalanta insist a January move isn’t close.
The defender has been paired with the Old Lady given that Kwadwo Asamoah is set to leave for the African Cup of Nations at the start of the New Year.
Juve will also be without Giorgio Chiellini for at least two months with injury, while Lucio rescinded his contract at the start of this week.
“At this moment there are no real negotiations going on,” Beppe Bozzo stated. “However, it is no secret that the Bianconeri like my client.”
Nevertheless, Atalanta director general Pierpaolo Marino has underlined that no switch is on the horizon.
“I too have been reading the reports about Peluso and Juventus, but I know nothing of them,” he insisted.
“Peluso was close to joining Juventus in the summer, but he isn’t at this moment in time.”
