Emanuele Calaio is on the verge of signing a new contract with current club Siena, reports are claiming.
The forward was being linked with a January move away from Tuscany, but the Bianconeri have responded to those rumours by preparing to tighten their grip on him.
The 30-year-old, who moved to Siena in 2008, is set to sign a 12-month extension which will see his contract renewed until 2015.
The former Napoli player has scored four goals in 18 League appearances for the struggling Serie A outfit.
