Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini has admitted it is 'pure fantasy' that Luis Muriel will leave the club.
The Colombian forward has been linked with a January move to Fiorentina, but the 59-year-old has claimed that it will not happen.
“It is fantasy football if you mention Muriel [to Fiorentina],” he told Messaggero Veneto. “He will not go away, not even in the summer.”
The 21-year-old striker has had an injury-ravaged season so far having missed four months with a fracture, but made a goalscoring return against Atalanta on December 22.
