Atalanta Coach Stefano Colantuono accepts Federico Peluso’s move to Juventus as “part of the club’s policy.”
The Italian international defender is expected to make the €5m transfer official when the January window opens.
“We have to pay close attention to the purse strings, so I don’t think there will be many big changes to the team,” Colantuono told Radio Onda Libera.
“As for Peluso, part of the club’s policy is to get the best out of young players and raise their profiles to then benefit from their sales. It happened in the past with Simone Padoin too, but we will maintain our identity anyway.”
Peluso is expected to arrive on a six-month loan worth €1m with option to buy on a permanent basis for another €4m.
