Marcelo Larrondo is reportedly just hours away from completing his transfer from Siena to Tuscan rivals Fiorentina.
The forward, who has made just three appearances in Serie A this season, will join the Viola on loan until the end of the season.
Fiorentina will then have the option to sign a 50 per cent share in the player at a cost of €1.5m.
The 24-year-old Argentine, with a past at River Plate, was signed by Siena as a teenager in 2009.
