Inter have announced Alvaro Pereira underwent surgery on his fractured nose, while Antonio Cassano has a thigh problem.
Pereira fractured his nose during the 2-0 win over Inter on Saturday evening and played with a protective mask in last night’s 3-2 Coppa Italia victory against Bologna.
The midfielder went under the knife today to reduce the fracture.
Cassano picked up a thigh problem during the Coppa quarter-final and was limping throughout extra time.
There were fears of a thigh strain, but tests have instead shown no lasting damage to the left leg.
