Fabio Liverani is expected to terminate his contract with Palermo by mutual consent after refusing a series of moves.
The midfielder had been linked with several clubs over the January transfer window, including Brescia and Serie B outfit Padova.
He turned them down and has been left out of the Palermo squad travelling to Lecce for tomorrow's game.
It is widely reported Liverani has played his last match in the Rosanero jersey.
His contract expires at the end of the season, so he is expected to terminate the deal by mutual consent in order to seek a new club.
