Gaetano D’Agostino is excited by the prospect of trying to keep struggling Pescara in Serie A.
The playmaker has agreed to join the seaside outfit this month after being unable to secure regular action at Siena.
“I’m really happy about this move,” the former Udinese midfielder told Calciomercato.it in an interview.
“Other clubs wanted me, but none with the determination of Pescara. I accepted the move with great enthusiasm.”
Although the transfer has been agreed, the former Italian international has yet to put pen to paper on a contract.
“It’s all done, but my agent is ill right now which has delayed things,” D’Agostino added. “I think I’ll be joining on loan until June. Then we’ll see what happens…”
