Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin has revealed that Antonio Di Natale is a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Juventus.
The Old Lady have some serious injury concerns for the Turin encounter, but Guidolin has admitted that he’s worried about his star striker.
“Everyone has problems,” Guidolin noted. “We’re not exactly healthy either. Di Natale hasn’t trained all week and I don’t know whether he’ll be available.
“He’s still not recovered all of his energy and I’m not sure whether he has 90 minutes in his legs. We’ll see tomorrow.”
The veteran striker has been struggling with illness ahead of the Juventus Stadium clash which could be played in snow.
“I think they will be ready for that in Turin,” the tactician continued. “We have to use our quality if we are to beat them.
“They are the best team in the Division. I saw their home defeat to Sampdoria and if they played that game again 10 times then they wouldn’t lose one of them.”
It’ll be a special game for the former Parma boss as he’ll be celebrating his 500th top-flight encounter on the touchline.
“I’ll celebrate this joy with the players and the staff,” he added. “Had I not joined Udinese then I would have quit by now.
“These players have prolonged my career.”
