Inter have reportedly saved themselves close to €30m after selling Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray.
The Dutchman confirmed last night that he would be joining the Turkish outfit [12] after being made available by the San Siro giants.
The creative midfielder, who recently rejected a request by the Nerazzurri to take a 30 per cent pay cut, has been sold for €7.5m.
The Gazzetta dello Sport says that fee will rise if certain bonus clauses are activated. Sneijder has signed until June 2016 for a €5.5m a season salary.
Had the former Real Madrid man remained at Inter until the end of his contract then he would have cost the club almost €30m gross in wages.
