Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi will undergo tests on Tuesday to fully understand the extent of his injury.
The Italian midfielder was replaced at half-time of Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Inter because of a muscle problem.
De Rossi complained of a right thigh strain that will rule him out of Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter and this weekend’s Serie A game against Bologna.
If scans show a first degree tear then he will be out for a couple of weeks, but a second degree strain would see him sidelined for around a month.
