As Vasilis Torosidis flies in for a medical with Roma, the Olympiacos talent’s agent confirms “we were about to sign a contract with Fulham when the better offer came in.”
The right-back had been in advanced negotiations for a switch to Craven Cottage over the last few days, but there was a sudden change of plan.
“It’s true, we were about to sign a contract with Fulham when the better offer came in from Roma right at the last minute,” agent George Kazianis told Calciomercato.it.
Roma announced the agreement with Olympiacos [12] this afternoon, thought to be worth €0.5m, and it’s reported he has already agreed a five-year contract at €2.5m.
