Cristian Zapata has what it takes to have a future with Italian giants Milan, says teammate Mario Yepes.
The 26-year-old moved to the San Siro in the summer on a loan deal from Villarreal following their relegation.
The ex-Udinese man, however, hasn’t been assured of a regular place in the first team and has only made eight League appearances.
However, Yepes has told Milan Channel that he believes that his fellow Colombian defender is worthy of the Diavolo jersey.
“Zapata has a lot of quality, as well as margins of improvement,” the former Chievo Verona centre-back noted. “I hope that Cristian can stay at Milan for some time to come.”
