Milan defender Thiago Silva feels that his side are under siege amid doubts about whether they can win the Scudetto.
Sunday's 1-1 draw away to Genoa allowed both Napoli and Inter to close the gap at the top of the table.
"The truth is that in this moment we feel under siege," Thiago said. "The problem is more complex.
"It's true that there is a strange atmosphere around us. The TV, radio and newspapers only talk about Inter and always with adjectives full of enthusiasm. Is it possible that everyone in Italy has become fans of Leonardo's team?
"At times I go and look at the League table to confirm that we are the ones at the top with a five-point advantage [on Inter]. Even if they were to win their game in hand against Fiorentina, they would still be behind us, right?
"We mustn't fall into this trap. Someone wants to break our dressing room, magnify our problems and take our assurance away.
"We must respond on the pitch by beating Parma on Saturday. Then we'll see about the derby."
