New Genoa defender Daniele Portanova has claimed that he does not regret admitting he was bitter at leaving Bologna.
The 34-year-old joined the Grifone from the Rossoblu last month, and took to Twitter to admit that he 'loved the Bologna shirt' [12].
But the veteran centre-back has claimed that now he is at the Marassi, he will give his all for the club.
“I gave and received a lot of love from the Bologna fans,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “That affection will never leave me.
“I do not regret writing that tweet.
“But now I am here at Genoa, and I want to do my part. I will fight for this shirt and for my new teammates.”
