Giorgio Perinetti has been re-appointed as director of football at Palermo following Pietro Lo Monaco's resignation.
Sky Sport Italia have confirmed that the 62-year-old will take over from Lo Monaco at the Rosanero after a turbulent few days at the club.
The man in charge of transfers at the Sicilian team then decided to step down, despite having brought in a host of new players over January.
Perinetti, who was previously at Palermo for one month last season, has been reinstated following a spell at Siena.
