Vincenzo Montella insists he is more than happy to be at Fiorentina. “I want to win this club their third Scudetto.”
Montella is one of Italy’s most promising tacticians after impressing during a brief spell at Roma and then at Catania last season.
He moved to the Viola in the summer and has got the Tuscan club fighting for a place in next season’s Champions League.
“My future? Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are whom I consider to be the big clubs,” the tactician told QS.
“And, at the moment, I don’t consider myself ready for that jump.
“For now I want to become the Coach who wins the third Scudetto for the Viola,” continued the former striker.
“We want to improve our squad. We need ideas and a method to do that because there is still a big economical gap between us and some other sides in Italy.”
Sixth-placed Fiorentina, four points behind third-placed Lazio, will take on Juventus in Turin on Saturday.
