Sampdoria’s Mauro Icardi will not be rushed into making a decision about his international future, says his agent.
“Mauro is concentrating exclusively on Sampdoria at this moment in time,” Abian Moreno told calciomercato.it.
“As for the rest, we’ll have to wait and see. A decision will be made in due course.”
The striker was born in Argentina, but he also has the necessary paperwork which would allow him to play for Italy if that was his desire.
Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has already made it clear that he’s keeping an eye on the 19-year-old centre-forward.
Meanwhile, Argentine boss Alejandro Sabella is expected to be at Marassi on Sunday to watch Sampdoria-Roma.
