Sampdoria striker Mauro Icardi will join Italian giants Inter at the end of the season, reports suggest.
All three of today’s main national sports papers claim that the youngster is on his way to San Siro.
It is being suggested that Massimo Moratti’s club have beaten Napoli to the Argentine with a €15m offer.
Icardi, still just 19, will sign a contract until 2017 which will see him earn an increasing salary starting from €1m a campaign.
The former Barcelona player, who joined Doria in 2011, has scored eight goals in 18 League games so far this term.
Napoli made an offer for the player in January, where it is believed that they bid €12m for the South American.
Icardi is also at the centre of an international tug of war between Argentina and Italy seeing as he is still eligible to play for either nation.
