Juventus plan to launch a bid for Benfica defender Fabio Coentrao during the summer, according to Tuttosport.
The Old Lady has identified the left-back position in particular as an Achilles Heel.
Gigi Del Neri has taken to using Giorgio Chiellini in the role in order to give his side greater defensive solidity.
Tuttosport understands that a Juventus scout watched Coentrao play for Portugal in a friendly against Argentina last night.
Benfica's directors have already announced their intention to cash in on Coentrao at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has no shortage of offers with the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester City already in the queue for his signature.
Coentrao is being valued at €30m and it remains to be seen whether Juventus can afford to make such an investment.
